You can be on Google Shopping without paying for ads.

Most store owners don't know this, so it's worth saying plainly.

Google shows product listings for free. Not the top spots — those are paid — but underneath and across the Shopping tab, your products can appear without you spending anything on ads.

There's a catch, and it's a boring one. Google will only show products it has complete, correct information about. Name, price, picture, availability, size, brand. Miss enough of it and your products quietly don't appear at all.

So the free listings and the paid ads run on exactly the same thing: how good your product information is. Fix that once and both improve together.

That's most of what we do.

Sound familiar?

“Google keeps rejecting my products.”

Very common, and almost always fixable. Usually a missing detail, a price that doesn't match your website, or an image that breaks one of Google's rules.

“Only some of my products show up.”

Google is showing the ones it understands and skipping the rest. The skipped ones aren't broken, they're just missing information.

“My account got suspended and I don't know why.”

Suspensions look alarming and are usually caused by something small and specific. There's a proper process for fixing it. Panicking and resubmitting makes it worse.

“I set it up once and never touched it again.”

Product lists go stale. Prices change, items sell out, new products don't get added. Google notices before you do.

Your product list is what Google actually reads.

Google does not read your website to work out what you sell. It reads a list — one row per product, with the details filled in.

That list is the entire thing. It decides which searches you appear for, which products get shown, and whether you appear at all.

Here's what usually goes wrong with it, and what we fix.

Product names written for you, not for searchers

Your list probably says “The Aurora — Midnight”. Nobody searches that. It should say “Women's Waterproof Walking Boots — Black, Size 7”. Google matches the words in your product name to the words people type, so this one change often does more than any budget increase.

Missing details Google quietly requires

Brand, condition, availability, colour, size, age group, the barcode number (GTIN). Leave them blank and Google either guesses or skips the product. It never tells you which.

Images that break the rules

Watermarks, logos on the photo, text overlays, borders, placeholder images. All rejected. Most people find out months later.

Prices that don't match your website

If your list says $40 and your site charges $45, Google rejects it. This happens constantly with sales and discount apps that change prices on the website but not in the list.

Products that sell out and stay listed

Paying to send people to a sold-out page is the fastest way to waste money and annoy a customer.

Rejected products and suspensions.

This is the part that scares people, so here's how it actually works.

When Google rejects a product, it gives a reason. The reasons are written for developers, not shop owners, which is why they feel impossible. Almost all of them come down to a missing detail, a price mismatch, or an image problem.

Fixes usually go through within a few days once the information is corrected. Nothing is permanent and nothing is lost.

Account suspensions are more serious but still recoverable. There's a right way to appeal — once, properly, with everything fixed first. Repeatedly resubmitting without changing anything is what turns a two-week problem into a two-month one.

We handle both. It's unglamorous and it's most of the value.

What we actually do.

Set up Merchant Center properly

Connected to your store, verified, with your delivery and returns information filled in the way Google wants it.

Rewrite your product names

So they match the words people actually type, not your internal product names.

Fill in the missing details

Brand, sizes, colours, availability, barcode numbers. The boring fields that decide everything.

Clear your rejections

Every rejected product worked through and resubmitted, with the reason explained in plain English.

Get your free listings working

So you appear in Shopping results without ad spend, alongside the paid ones.

Run and watch your Shopping ads

Budgets pushed toward what sells, kept away from what doesn't, checked weekly.

Keep the list fresh

Prices, stock, and new products flowing through automatically instead of drifting out of date.

If you also have a physical shop.

If you sell in a real shop as well as online, Google can show what's in stock near someone searching right now. It sends people who are minutes away and ready to buy.

It takes a bit of setup and it only makes sense if your stock information is reliable. We'll tell you honestly whether it's worth it for you.

Straight answers about money.

We charge a flat monthly fee

Not a percentage of your ad spend. Percentage pricing means we'd earn more by telling you to spend more.

Merchant Center itself is free

Google doesn't charge for it, and free listings cost nothing. You only pay when someone clicks a paid ad.

Your ad budget is separate and yours

Paid directly to Google from your own account. It never touches us.

The first month is mostly repairs

Cleaning a neglected product list is real work. It's also the part that pays for itself fastest.

Everything stays in your name

Merchant Center, your Google account, your product data. If we part ways you keep it all.

Questions.

What does a Google Shopping agency do?+

Sets up and looks after Merchant Center, fixes and maintains your product list, clears rejected products, and runs your Shopping ads. Most of the work is in the product information, not the ads.

Is Google Merchant Center free?+

Yes. Setting it up and having your products listed costs nothing. You only pay when someone clicks a paid ad. Free listings cost nothing at all.

How do I get my products listed on Google Shopping?+

You connect your store to Merchant Center, which reads your product list, then get the products approved. Approval is where most people get stuck.

Why are my products disapproved in Merchant Center?+

Usually a missing detail, a price that doesn't match your website, or an image with a watermark or text on it. The wording Google uses is confusing, but the causes are nearly always small.

How long does it take to fix rejected products?+

Usually a few days after the information is corrected. Suspended accounts take longer and need the underlying problem fixed before appealing.

How do I connect my Shopify store to Google Shopping?+

There's an official app that links the two. Connecting is easy. Getting your product information good enough that Google shows your items is the part that takes work.

How does Merchant Center work with Google Ads?+

Merchant Center holds your product information. Google Ads spends the budget. They're linked together, and if the product information is wrong the ads have nothing good to show.

How much does Google Shopping cost?+

Free listings cost nothing. Paid ads charge you per click, and what a click costs depends on what you sell and who else is bidding. What matters is whether a sale costs less than your profit on it.

How do I rank higher in Google Shopping?+

There's no ranking to buy your way into directly. Better product names, complete details, good images, competitive prices and being in stock all push you up.

Do I need Shopping ads if my products already show for free?+

Free listings appear lower down and get far fewer clicks. Most stores use free listings as the base and paid ads for the products with the best margins.

Send us your store.

We'll look at your product list and tell you what's wrong with it — how many products are rejected, what's missing, and what we'd fix first. Within 24 hours, no long sales call.
