Shopify development services

Shopify development for brands that want the store to actually sell.

We build and set up Shopify stores end to end — theme, product pages, apps, payments, delivery, photos and videos. Most go live in three to four weeks, and you can run it yourself afterwards.

As a Shopify Partner we build on a free development store, so you don't pay Shopify anything until your store is finished and you're happy with it.

Three reasons people come to us.

“I want to start selling on Shopify.”

You have a product and a plan. We build the whole store, set up payments and delivery, make your product photos, and hand it over ready to take orders.

“I have a Shopify store but it isn't converting.”

Traffic comes in, sales don't follow. Usually it's the product pages, the load speed, or the checkout. We find what's leaking and fix it.

“I want to move to Shopify.”

From WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, Etsy, or just selling through Instagram DMs. We move your products, customers, and past orders across, and redirect your old pages so you don't lose your Google rankings.

Shopify makes it easy to build a store. It doesn't make it easy to build one that sells.

That's the part people miss. Anyone can install a theme in an afternoon. The platform is genuinely that good.

But easy to build and built to sell are different jobs. A theme out of the box is designed to look right on a demo store selling made-up products. It knows nothing about your customers, your price point, or the specific reason someone would hesitate before buying from you.

So you end up with a store that looks perfectly fine and quietly loses sales. Product pages that don't answer the question stopping the buyer. Six apps loaded on every page, dragging your speed to five seconds on mobile. A checkout asking for a phone number nobody wants to give.

None of that is visible when you look at your own store. You already know what you're selling. Your customer doesn't. That's the work we do. The build is the easy half.

What you get.

  • Theme setup and customisation — built around your products, not a demo store
  • Product pages written to sell, not descriptions copied from your supplier
  • Product photos and videos, made by us — clean backgrounds, lifestyle shots, ad-ready video
  • Collections and navigation structured so people find things fast
  • Apps chosen carefully — only what earns its place, installed and configured
  • Payments set up and tested with a real order before launch
  • Delivery and returns configured with your actual rates and policies
  • Speed work — image compression, app cleanup, mobile tested on real phones
  • Google basics — page titles, descriptions, structure, sitemap
  • Ad accounts connected so you can start selling from day one
  • Email signups and abandoned cart flows switched on
  • A walkthrough video showing how to run your own store
  • Thirty days of support after launch

The questions everyone asks us about Shopify.

“Do I need a custom theme?”

Almost certainly not, and anyone pushing you towards one on your first store is selling you something you don't need. A good paid theme, customised properly, does everything a store under a few thousand orders a month requires. We'll tell you honestly if you're the exception.

“How many apps do I need?”

Fewer than you think. Every app you install adds code to your pages and a monthly bill to your account. We've seen stores paying $200 a month for apps doing things the theme already did. We install what earns its place and nothing else.

“Why is my Shopify store slow?”

Nine times out of ten it's apps and uncompressed images, not Shopify. We strip out what isn't being used, compress everything, and test on a real phone on mobile data — not on a desktop with fast internet.

“What will Shopify cost me monthly?”

The plan itself, plus apps, plus transaction fees if you're not using Shopify Payments. We'll map out your actual monthly running cost before you commit, so there are no surprises in month two.

“Can I still use Shopify Payments where I am?”

It isn't available everywhere. If it isn't available in your country, we set up the alternative that works for you and keep the fees as low as possible. We'll check this at the planning stage, not after the build.

You don't need a photographer.

This is where most new Shopify stores stall. The store is half-built and you're stuck because you don't have decent photos — and a photoshoot costs more than the store did.

We make them. Product shots on clean backgrounds, lifestyle images, videos for your product pages and your ads. Send us your product details and a few reference photos and we handle the rest.

It's part of the build, not a separate invoice. And once you're running ads, we can keep producing new ones weekly so your ads don't go stale.

How it works.

  1. 1

    Week 1Planning

One call covering your products, your customers, and what the store needs to do. You get a fixed price, a launch date, and your monthly Shopify running costs mapped out before you pay anything.

  2. 2

    Week 2Build

We build on a free development store while your photos and videos are produced in parallel. You get a live link and can watch it come together.

  3. 3

    Week 3Your review

You go through it and tell us what to change. We make the changes, then place a real test order end to end — payment, confirmation email, delivery — before anything goes public.

  4. 4

    Week 4Launch

The store goes live on your plan and your domain. You get a walkthrough video and thirty days of support.

Large catalogues and migrations take longer. We'll say so at the planning stage rather than promise four weeks and miss it.

Your side is small.

Store builds drag on for months when the client gets stuck supplying things. So here's the whole list:

  • Your product list with prices
  • Any photos you already have, phone ones are fine
  • Your logo, if you have one — we'll sort it if you don't
  • Your business details for the delivery and returns pages
  • An hour on the planning call, an hour to review before launch

No product descriptions? We write them. No photos? We make them.

We don't disappear.

Thirty days of support comes with every build — something broken, something you want moved, a question about adding a product.

After that it's genuinely yours. The store, the domain, the accounts are all in your name. Nothing is locked to us and no code depends on us being around. The walkthrough video covers everything you need to run it day to day.

If you want us to keep going — running your ads, producing new content, growing your search traffic — we do that too. It's an option, not a condition.

Moving to Shopify from somewhere else.

We move products, customers, and past orders across, then redirect every old page address to its new one so the traffic and rankings you've built up follow you over. Done badly, a migration wipes out months of search visibility. Done properly, nobody outside your business notices anything except that the site got faster.

We handle moves from WooCommerce, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, BigCommerce, Etsy, and from selling through social media with no website at all.

Questions.

How much does a Shopify store cost to build?+

It depends on how many products you have and how much content needs making. We give you a fixed price before starting, so you know exactly what you're paying. Send us your details and you'll have a number within 24 hours.

How long does it take to build a Shopify store?+

Three to four weeks for most stores, from the planning call to launch.

How much does it cost to hire a Shopify developer?+

Agencies and freelancers usually charge by the hour, which makes the final bill hard to predict. We quote one fixed price for the whole build instead, so the number you agree at the start is the number you pay.

What is a Shopify development store?+

It's a free store Shopify gives partners to build on. Your store gets built there first, and you only start paying Shopify when it's ready to go live.

Do I pay Shopify during the build?+

No. We build on a free development store and you only start your paid plan when the store is ready to go live.

Do I own everything?+

Yes. Store, domain, accounts — all in your name. If we part ways, nothing goes with us.

Can I edit the store myself afterwards?+

Yes, and we build with that in mind. Adding products, changing prices, swapping images — all doable without a developer. The walkthrough video shows you how.

Do I need custom Shopify development, or will a theme do?+

A quality theme, customised properly, for almost everyone. Custom builds cost several times more and most stores never need one. We'll tell you if you're an exception rather than upsell you.

What if I already have a Shopify store?+

Send us the link. We'll tell you whether fixing it or rebuilding makes more sense — sometimes fixing costs more.

Will moving to Shopify hurt my Google rankings?+

Not when redirects are done properly. That's the part cheap migrations skip.

Do you work with new businesses?+

Yes. A lot of what we build is someone's first store.

Tell us what you're selling.

Send your product details and where you're at right now. Within 24 hours you'll get a plan, a launch date, and a fixed price. No long sales call.
